IRENE DALE
1921-1981
Irene Dale, 59, died Tuesday, Jan 20, in Columbus, OH.
She was born May 14, 1921 in Johnson County, the daughter of Jim and
Callie Castle Dale. She was a retired nurse and a member of the
Freewill Baptist church.
Surviving are a daughter, Linda Ratliff, Columbus; six sisters, Mae
Cundiff and Imogene Tate, Orlando, FL, Maxine Spencer, Paintsville,
Mollie Leverett, IN, Lizzie Dale, NY and Clara Jarrell, Athens, WV;
two brothers, Raymond Dale, Orlando, FL and Bill Dale, Paintsville; 3
grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, Jan 23, in Jones- Preston Funeral
Home Chapel with Charles Stapleton, Dick VanHoose and Eddie Spencer
officiating.
Burial was in the family cemetery, Thealka, with Jones- Preston
Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
