HELEN FAYE FRAZIER 1932-2007 Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, Nov. 14, 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Paintsville, Ky., for Helen Faye Castle Frazier, 75, of Paintsville, who passed away Sunday, Nov. 11 at her residence. Mrs. Frazier was born June 17, 1932 in Johnson County, Ky., daughter of the late Vern and Opal Preston Castle. She was a graduate of Meade Memorial High School, Pikeville Jr. College and Morehead State University, and taught seven years for Johnson County Schools, three years for Paintsville Head Start and 20 years for Paintsville Elementary, retiring in 1990. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, and a member of the Johnson County Retired Teachers Association. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Frazier; one brother, Ernest Ray Castle; and one grandson, Jeremy Adkins. Surviving are one son, David (Lisa) Frazier of Kenova, W.Va.; one daughter, Karen (Barry) Adkins of Paintsville; two brothers, Robert (Frieda) Castle of Paintsville and Wayne (Peggy) Castle of Pickerington, Ohio; one sister, Brenda Kay (Jim) Burkett of Hager Hill, Ky.; eight grandchildren, David E. Frazier, Dylan, Lindsay and Michaela Solise, and Christopher M., Andrew G., Tessa L. and Lucas E. Adkins; her aunt, Frances Faye May of Louisa, Ky.; several sisters-in-law, and one brother-in-law; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The service will be officiated by Larry O’Bryan, with burial in the Johnson County Memorial Cemetery at Staffordsville, Ky.
