JOE LEE FYFFE 1902-1957 Keaton Man Dies En Route to Hospital Joe Lee Fyffe, 55, died suddenly en route to a local hospital about seven o'clock Wednesday evening. He was a resident of Keaton where he had lived for 15 years. Mr. Fyffe was born in Morgan County, April 13, 1902, a son of the late Cambridge and Susan Ferguson Fyffe. He was a pumper for the Ashland Oil and Refining Co. Surviving, besides his mother are his wife, Evelyn Isom Fyffe, one son, William Kenneth Fyffe of Harlem, Ga., two daughters, Mrs. Robert Dixon, Fostoria, Ohio and Hazel Fyffe, Keaton, and the following brothers and sisters; John E. Fyffe, Ashland, Richard Fyffe and Conn Fyffe, both of Keaton, C B. Fyffe, Martha, Mrs. Johnnie Fyffe, Skaggs, and Mrs. Gennis Sturgill, Martha. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 26, at the residence. Officiating were Rev. Robie Ferguson, Rev. Addie Ferguson and Rev. Jesse Smith.
