Mrs. Lina Fyffe, 83, died at her home at Keaton at 2:30 a.m.
Thursday January 3 1953, following an illness of ten months.

Born January 2, 1870 in Johnson County, she was the daughter of
Merida and Malinda Holbrook Evans.  She was a member of the
Enterprise Baptist Church.

She was preceeded in death by two husbands, James Ferguson and
W.H. Fyffe.

Surviving are two sons, M.J. Ferguson, Safford, Arizona and
N.K. Fyffe, Keaton; and one daughter, Mrs. Sanford Bailey,
Keaton, 18 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Other survivors include one brother, James Evans, Martha, Ky.,
two sisters, Mrs. H.F. Williams, Riggs, Ky., and Mrs. Felix
Fyffe, Lawrence County.

Funeral services were held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the
Enterprise Baptist Church at Keaton with Revs. Hood Wallen,
Emery Ferguson and Tommie Bailey officiating.

Burial was made in the family cemetery at Keaton under the
direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
