N.K. FYFFE
1905-1981
N. K. Fyffe, 76, succumbed Friday, April 3, after an extended
illness. Mr. Fyffe was the father of Paul G. Fyffe, general manager
of WSIP Radio in Paintsville.
A native of Johnson County, he was born in Feb 1905, the son of
William H. and Lina Evans Ferguson Fyffe. He was a resident of
Northgate, in Paintsville, at the time of his death.
A member of the Paintsville Masonic Lodge 381 F & AM and of the
United Methodist Church, Mr. Fyffe was a retired salesman.
His wife, Ruie Franklin Fyffe, survives. In addition to Paul Fyffe,
two other sons survive, Carl L. Fyffe of Lexington and James W. Fyffe
of Montgomery, AL, 8 grandchildren.
Rev. Graham Abbott officiated at services Sunday, April 4, in the
chapel of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
Burial was in the Johnson County Memorial Cemetery at Staffordsville.
