ROBERT GAMBER
1914-1982


Robert E. Gamber, 68, died April 28 in Palm Beach and Martin County Medical
Center, Jupiter, FL.

Mr. Gamber was born April 12, 1914, in Ionia, MI, and was a resident of Hobe
Sound, FL. He was a retired chief engineer for Marine Engineering
Association, a member of the Elks and VFW and served with the U. S. Navy and
the Merchant Marine Corp.

Surviving are his parents, Perry and Helen Weeks Gamber of Stuart, FL; his
wife, Mollie Mae Jenkins Gamber; a son, Robert T. Gamber, Denver, CO; a
daughter Joan C. Davis, New Freedom, PA; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, May 1, in Fishtrap United Baptist
Church, Staffordsville, with Elders Lonza Reed, Wayne Blair and Benny
Salyers officiating.

Burial was in Johnson County Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville, with
Paintsville Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
