Allie C. Goble, 78, of Paintsville, died Monday, Jan. 14, 2008 at
Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center, Paintsville.
  
Born April 20, 1929, in Johnson County, she was a daughter of the
late Manford and Sarah Jane Arms Spradlin. She was a member of
West Van Lear Freewill Baptist Church.
  
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Goble, in
1980.
  
Survivors include three sons, Virgil Goble Jr. of River, Ricky
Goble of Sitka, and Amos Goble of Snellville, Ga.; a brother,
William Ruben Spradlin of Hager Hill; several grandchildren; and
several great-grandchildren.
  
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. today, Friday, Jan. 18, at
Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville, with Terry Conley and Lee Music
officiating.
  
Burial will be in Cumbo Cemetery, West Van Lear, under direction
of Preston Funeral Home.
