Tollie Hill, 87, of Flat Gap, died Saturday at Mountain Manor Nursing Home,
Paintsville.
  
Born June 2, 1922, in Morgan County, he was the son of the late Arlen and
Merdie Burchett Hill. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
  
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Griffith Hill in 2009; a
son, Larry Hill; and two brothers, Wallace Hill and Hobert Hill.
  
Survivors include two sons, Richard Hill of Oil Springs and Jerry Hill of
Flat Gap; two daughters, Carolyn Sue Hill of Staffordsville and Linda Ball
of West Liberty; a sister, Kathleen Blevins of Florida; several
grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were Tuesday, March 16, at Jones-Preston Funeral Home
Chapel, with Harold Salyers officiating.
  
Burial was in Johnson County Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville, under
direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
