BEATRICE JOHNSON
1911-1990
Hager Hill resident, Beatrice Johnson, 79, died Tuesday, July 10,
in Riverview Nursing Home.
Mrs. Johnson was born October 30, 1911 in Floyd County, the
daughter of Judd and Margaret Music Rice.
Surviving are her husband, Robert M. Johnson; one son, Lowell Dean
Johnson, of Hager Hill; two daughters, Marlene McNeil, of
Jonesville, Virginia, Bonnie Bogan, of Columbia, Missouri; three
brothers, Thomas Rice, of Hager Hill, and John D. Rice and Virlie
Rice, both of East Point; three sisters, Vertice Cartmell, of
Prestonsburg, and Lois Richardson and Avonell Conley, both of East
Point; and six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, July 13, in Jones-Preston
Funeral Home Chapel with James Kelly Caudill and Paul Browning
officiating.
Burial was in Johnson County Memorial Cemetery at Staffordsville.
