SUSAN LESTER
1879-1963
Mrs. Susan Boggs Lester, 84, widow of James Lester, died at 3:20 p.m.
Friday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Mary Pack, in Lexington with
whom she had lived.
She had been ill for several months. A native of Terryville, she was
a daughter of the late Alfred and Martha Terry Boggs.
She was a member of the Enterprise Baptist Church in Paintsville,
where she had lived until moving to Lexington last September.
In addition to Mrs. Pack, survivors include another daughter, Mrs.
Dudley Williams, Wheelersburg, Ohio; a son, Crait Lester, Tulelake,
Calif.; 16 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
Graveside rites were conduted Monday at Keaton and burial followed in
the family cemetery.
