LAURA LYONS

Laura Lyons, 74, of Hagerhill, died Tuesday Oct.16 2001 in Paul B.
Hall Medical  Center in Paintsville.
  
Mrs. Lyons was born Aug. 25, 1927, in Johnson County, a daughter of
the late Beldon and Vernie Lemaster McKenzie.
  
She was owner of Maggard & Joseph Furniture Store and Maggard's Serv-
O-Center.
  
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clayton Maggard.
  
Surviving are her husband, Frank Lyons; three sons, Wendell Maggard
and Larry Maggard, both of Hagerhill, and Darrell Maggard of
Lexington; three stepsons, Mike Lyons and Gary Lyons, both of
Staffordsville and Rick Lyons of Thelma; a daughter, Carol Blair of
Riceville; a brother, James McKenzie of Grand Rapids, Mich.; four
sisters,  including Alene Murrel of Grand Rapids, Jean Franks of
Michigan and Dorothy Exline of Russell Springs, Ohio; 15
grandchildren; four great- grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren;
and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
  
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Paintsville Funeral
Home by the Rev. Lindsey Meade and the Rev. Gilbert Music.
  
Burial will be in Johnson County Memorial Gardens in Staffordsville.
