CLYDE McKENZIE
1911-1992
Funeral services were held Saturday, September 12 for Clyde McKenzie, 81,
who died Wednesday, September 9.
Mr. McKenzie was born July 6, 1911 in Johnson County, the son of Burns and
Alice Fairchild McKenzie. He was a self-employed miner and a member of the
Sitka Freewill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ollie
Mae VanHoose McKenzie.
Surviving are one son, Fred Willard McKenzie of Sitka; two brothers, Delbert
McKenzie of Zanesville, OH and Guy McKenzie of Columbus, OH; and one
granddaughter, Janie McKenzie of Paintsville.
Officiating at services in Sitka Freewill Baptist Church were Revs. C. C.
Hall, Charles Stapleton and Jim McKenzie.
Burial was in Johnson County Memorial Park at Staffordsville, with
Paintsville Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
