James W. “Butch” McKenzie, 67, of Hager Hill, died
Wednesday, Feb. 6, at King’s Daughters Medical Center, Ashland.
  
Born July 22, 1945, at Springfield, Ohio, he was the son of the late George
“Burt” and Olga Honaker McKenzie.
  
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Houston McKenzie; two sons, Brandon
McKenzie and Paul M. Daniels, both of Hager Hill; a daughter, Sherri
Lemaster of Stambaugh; three brothers, Buddy McKenzie and Gene McKenzie,
both of West Van Lear, and Ernie McKenzie of Van Lear; a sister, Sandy Moore
of Springfield; and five grandchildren.
  
Graveside services were Saturday, Feb. 9, in Johnson County Memorial
Cemetery, Staffordsville, with Chris Houston and Kenny Pelphrey officiating,
under direction of Phelps and Son Funeral Home, Paintsville.
