JOHN W. MCKENZIE

John W. McKenzie, 83, Keaton, died Friday in Paintsville Hospital
following an extended illness.
  
Mr. McKenzie was born March 12, 1891, in Johnson County, a son of the
late William H. and Mandy Bailey McKenzie.
  
He was a retired merchant.
  
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Grace Z. Evans McKenzie; three sons,
John W. McKenzie Jr. of Allen, Raymond H. McKenzie of Keaton and
William H. McKenzie of Springfield, O.; three daughters, Mrs. Ethel
Rigsby of Keaton, Miss Emma McKenzie of New Boston and Mrs. Imogene
Allen of Xenia, O.; a brother, Estill M. McKenzie of Columbus; a
sister, Mrs. Sarah Kelly of Columbus; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-
grandchildren.
  
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at the
Enterprise Baptist Church in Keaton by Hoby Ferguson, minister.
  
Burial will be in the W. H. Fyffe family cemetery at Keaton.
  
The body is at the Jones-Preston Funeral Home in Paintsville, where
friends may call.
