EMMA LEE O'BRYAN
1927-1985
Thealka resident Mrs. Emma Lee O’Bryan, 57, died July 27 in Paul B. Hall
Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.
Mrs. O’Bryan was born August 1, 1927 in Johnson County, the daughter of
Willie Osborne and Mae Osborne Fitch Horne. She was a retired manager of G.
C. Murphy Company, a member of the United Baptist Church and Eastern Star
No. 320.
Surviving are her husband, Clarence O’Bryan; two sons, Larry O’Bryan of
London and Gary O’Bryan of Volga; three brothers, James W. Osborne of
Fayetteville, NC, Willie E. “Bill” Osborne of Thealka; and Olen Fitch of
Thealka; two sisters, Ora Fitch of Marion, OH and Betty Lou Webb of Hinton,
WV; and six grandchildren.
Elders Charles Price, Bruce Howard and LaFrance Rigsby officiated at
services Tuesday, July 30 in Tom’s Creek United Baptist Church at Tutor Key.
