DREW PARKER
1916-1987
Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, December 23 at 11 a.m. in
Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel for Drew Parker, 71.
Mr. Parker was born January 25, 1916 in Lawrence County, the son of Ruben
and Susanna Hensley Parker. He was a retired mail carrier.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Jo Ferguson Parker; four sons, Lonnie, of
Staffordsville, Bobby of Flat Gap, and Ronnie and Jimmy, both of Blaine;
seven daughters, Barbara Salyers, Faye Etta Parker, Lovena May Fairchild,
and Norma Jean Parker all of Staffordsville, Glenda Sue Parker and Ruth Ann
Parker both of Blaine and Carol June Ward of Martha; and two sisters, Nora
Wheeler of Louisa and Mary Bell Phillips of Ashland.
Officiating at services will be Rev. Jerry Castle and Elder John G.
Pelphrey.
Burial will be in Johnson County Memorial at Staffordsville.
