DAVID O. PERRY
1879-1959

David O. Perry, 80, retired miner of West Van Lear, died in a local
hospital at 12:05 p.m., November 25, after an illness of three years.

The son of the late Charles and Eliza Henson Perry, he was born January
19, 1879, in Lawrence County and had resided at West Van Lear for the
past thirty-three years.

He was a member of the Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Edna L. Conley Perry; one son, Condit Perry,
Leslie, W. Va., one daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Ruth Anderson,
Minneapolis, Minn.; one sister, Mrs. Ed Corbin, Chillicothe, Ohio;
Ralph Perry, Jenkins, Ky., Charlie Perry, Trotwood, Ohio.

Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 p.m., Sunday from the home with
Rev. Charles Perry as officiating minister.

Burial was in the Cumbo Cemetery at West Van Lear.
