RITES FOR SITKA MAN

ERNEST PERSINGER DIES IN OHIO

Funeral services were held at the Christian Church at Sitka, Monday,
July 16, 1945, for Ernest Persinger, 53 years old, who died very
suddenly at his work at Marion, Ohio on Thursday afternoon.

A hearse was sent by the Jones Funeral Home and the remains brought
to Paintsville Friday evening and were taken to his home at Sitka
Saturday morning.

He is survived by his wife, Pearl Turner Persinger and two daughters,
Marjorie Gene and Billie Marie, one sister at Akron, Ohio, one
brother, James of Kingsport, TN, and one brother Neal of Detroit, MI.
Both brothers were able to be present at the funeral services.

Services were held by Revs. SC Honeycutt and Leonard Webb and burial
was made in the Turner family cemetery under the direction the Jones
Funeral Home.
