PEARL T. PERSINGER
1898-1985
  
Mrs. Pearl T. Persinger, 87, died November 30 in J.J. Jordan
Nursing Home in Louisa following an extended illness.
  
Mrs. Persinger was born February 5, 1898, in Johnson County, the
daughter of Frank and Rose Boyd Turner. She was a resident of
Paintsville, a retired saleclerk for G.C. Murphy Company and a
member of the Church of Christ.
  
Her husband, Ernest Persinger, preceded her in death July 12,
1945.
  
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Margie Sparks of Staffordsville
and Mrs. Billie Trimble of Fairborn, Ohio; four sisters, Mrs.
Mollie Daniel and Mrs. Zona Branham of Paintsville, Mrs. Lida
Castle of Flat Gap and Mrs. Freda Stapleton of Lexington; four
grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were held December 2 in Paintsville Funeral Home
Chapel with Jerry Scott officiating .
  
Burial was in Johnson County Memorial Cemetery at Staffordsville.
