GLENN EDWARD PHELPS
1937-1993
Paintsville Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for Glenn Edward
Phelps, 56, who died Thursday, October 21 at Paul B. Hall Regional Medical
Center.
Mr. Phelps was born June 25, 1937 in Hamlin, WV, the son of Martha Kirk
Phelps and the late Cody Phelps of Chicago, IL. He was a truck driver for
Calgon of Rockwood, MI and was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Ellen Bradley Phelps of Barnetts Creek; one
stepson, Todd Flowers of Amarillo, TX; one daughter, Glenda Dawn Fairchild
of Staffordsville; and four brothers, Deitrich Phelps of Jackson, MI and
Bernard, Mack and Dennis Phelps, all of Chicago.
Funeral services were held Saturday, October 23 at Paintsville Funeral Home
Chapel with Revs. Roger Hill and Russell Adkins officiating.
Burial was in Johnson County Memorial at Staffordsville.
