CLISTIE REED
1924-1992
Paintsville Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for Clistie Mae Reed,
68, who died August 6 in Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Reed was born February 23, 1924 in Martin County, the daughter of the
late Millard and Mary Jane Spradlin Gillipsie. She was a member of the
Freewill Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Thomas Reed; three sons, Gene Collier of
Paintsville, Millard McCloud of New Carlisle, OH and Albert McCloud of Fish
Trap; two daughters, Edna Hayden of Thelma, and Mary Branham of Meally; one
brother, Columbus, Gillispie of Tomahawk; two sisters Mary Jane Davis, of
Tomahawk and Sylvinia Penix of Wabash, IN an d10 grandchildren and five
great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, August 9 in the Freewill Baptist Church
at Boons Camp, with Revs. Leondis Taylor, Benny Taylor and Roger Ross
officiating.
Burial was in Johnson County Memorial at Staffordsville.
