DIES AT HOME AT BARNETTS CREEK

Rachel Rowland Reynolds, 56, died at her home at Barnetts Creek, at
1:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 21, after an illness of several months.

She was born in Morgan County on January 27, 1884, the daughter of
Joseph and Rebecca Estep Rowland. She had lived at Barnetts Creek for
the past 21 years, where she was a housewife and a member of the
United Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Eugene Reynolds, and daughters, Ruby
Reynolds, Mrs. Betty Lemaster, both of Barnetts Creek. Also surviving
are three brothers, Morgan Rowland, Fugate, Ky., Willie Rowland, Flat
Gap, Ky., and Johnnie Rowland, Volga, Ky., four sisters, Mrs. Loman
Cantrell, Mrs. Harry Frazier, Misses Mary and Martha Rowland, all of
Fuget.

Funeral services were held today at 2:00 p.m. at the home by the
Revs. Lonza Reed and Ferman Blair. Burial was in the family cemetery
under the direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
