Dies Saturday Rites Held Monday For County Resident

Thomas Robinson, 77, died at 11:55 a.m. Saturday, Mar.31 1956, at
his home in West Van Lear following an illness of one day.

Born Jan.10 1879, at East Point, he was the son of the late Henry
and Martha Steven Robinson.

He was a retired miner and had been a resident of West Van Lear
for 11 years.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Minnie Goble Robinson, two sons, Jim
RObinson, Hellier; and Tommie Robinson, Elwood, Ind; and six
daughters, Mrs. Manchie Goble, Miss Ollie Robinson, Mrs. Manda
Perkins, Mrs. Amma Titlow, Mrs. Elizabeth Akers, all of West Van
Lear, and Mrs. Okey Knotts, Elwood, Ind.

He is also survived by 32 grandchildren and 24 great
grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Monday at the home with Rev. S.C.
Honeycutt officiating.

Burial was made in the Cumbo Cemetery at West Van Lear under the
direction of the Jones Preston Funeral Home.
