Mabel Rohr, 94, of Paintsville, died Monday, Feb. 25, 2002 at Paul B.
Hall Medical Center, Paintsville.
  
Born July 2, 1907, in Magoffin County, a daughter of the late Jack
and Nancy Patrick Whitaker, she was a retired cook at Mayo Kitchen.
  
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lewis Rohr, in
1950.
  
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Katherine Rohr Murphy of
Paintsville; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Larry Blair Wednesday, Feb.
27, at Jones-Preston Funeral Home Chapel, Paintsville. Burial was in
Johnson County Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville.
  
Jones-Preston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
