HARLEY SANDERS
1904-1957

Harley Sanders, 52, died Wednesday at his home at Thealka
following a long illness.

He was born July 25, 1904, in Martin, Tennessee. He had been a
resident of Thealka for eight months. By occupation, he was a
maintenance man.

He was married April 21, 1947 to Mandy Tackett Sanders, who
survives.

Other survivors are two stepsons, Vernon DeBoard, U. S. Army and
Charles DeBoard of Dayton, Ohio, two brothers, Harold Sanders of
Detroit, Mich., and Harry Sanders of Martin, Tenn., and two
sisters, Pauline Roberts and Anna Lee Turner, both of Dayton,
Ohio.

Services were conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at the West Van Lear
Church of Christ with the Rev. Spurgeon Honeycutt officiating.

Burial was made in the Cumbo Cemetery at West Van Lear.
