Andrew Scarberry, 68, of Flat Gap, died Wednesday, Dec. 21, at his
residence.
  
Born Jan. 13, 1943, in Johnson County, he was the son of the late William
Foster and Mammie Preston Scarberry. He was a construction welder.
  
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Salyer.
  
Survivors include three sons, James Scarberry of Sandy Hook, Red Scarberry
of Stambaugh and Tim Scarberry of Flat Gap; two daughters, Sandy Grimm and
Patty Scarberry, both of Paintsville; a brother, Elijah Scarberry of Flat
Gap; two sisters, Wanda Caldwell and Delores Jennings of Stambaugh; seven
grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were Saturday, Dec. 24, at Paintsville Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial was in Johnson County Memorial, Staffordsville, under direction of
Paintsville Funeral Home, Paintsville.
