MABEL SPEARS

Mabel Baldwin Spears, 91, died Sunday, April 1, 2001, at
Highlands Regional Medical Center.
  
Mrs. Spears was born January 6, 1910, in Johnson County, to the late
Fred and Mary Frances Sublett Baldwin.
  
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ray Spears, on June 7,
1968.
  
Surviving are two sons, Eugene D. Spears of Marion, Ohio, and Dr. Joe
Spears of Paintsville; two brothers, Frederick Baldwin of Paintsville
and Robert Baldwin of Carey, Ohio; three sisters, Enola May Webb of
West Van Lear and Katherine West and Irene Zuolle, both of Marion,
Ohio; and four grandchildren and three great- grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Preston Funeral Home Chapel,
with Richard Williams officiating.
  
Burial followed in Webb-Spears Cemetery at West Van Lear.
