ERMA LEE SPENCER
1926-1985
Mrs. Erma Lee Spencer, 59, died September 6, in University of Kentucky
Medical Center in Lexington.
Mrs. Spencer was born September 4, 1926 in Johnson County, the daughter of
George and Dora Preston Jones. She was a resident of Thelma and a member of
the Freewill Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Sherwood Spencer, who she married July 5, 1947;
three sons, Larry Keith, George Randall and Steven Ray Spencer, all of
Thelma; two daughters, Shera Jean Williams of Springfield, OH and Sandra Kay
Cantrell of Thelma; a brother and sister, Virgil Jones of Albion, MI and
Mrs. Lockie Mae Pack of River; 5 grandchildren.
Funeral services held Monday, September 9, in Paintsville Funeral Home
Chapel with Revs. James Kelly Caudill and Harry Neal Frisby officiating.
Burial was in Howard Cemetery at Tutor Key.
