GEORGE STEENBURGH

GEORGE STEENBURGH, 46, former resident of West Van Lear, died of a heart attack Sunday, December 16, 1963 at his home in  Waynesburg, Pa. after  a brief illness.
 
He was born January 28, 1916, the son of Mrs. Dolly Dew 
Steenburgh and the late Charles Steenburgh. He had lived at 
Waynesburg for the last eight years where he was employed
as a construction worker.
 
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Georgia Spears Steenburgh; a son Charles Martin Steenburgh, Waynesburg Pa; tow daughters, Mrs. La Vonna Kiger, Bellflower Calif., Miss Bertha "Karen" Steenburgh, Waynesburg, Pa.; a brother, William R. Steenburgh, Winterhaven Fl.; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Robinson and Mrs. Gertrude Susterie both of Ontario, Canada; two half-brothers, Robert Charles and Harry James Steenburgh Ontario, Canada; a stepbrother, Daniel Ireland, Ontario, Canada; two step-sisters, Mrs. Toney Owen and Mrs. Bert McFaddin, Ontario Canada.
   
Funeral services were conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 21, at West Van Lear Church of Christ with S.C. Honeycutt and Cecil  Sherman as officiating ministers.
 
Burial was in the Cumbo Cemetery at West Van Lear.
