GRETTA STINSON

Gretta Stinson, age 56, died Thursday, October 6, at 6 a.m. at a
local hospital following a brief illness.
  
The funeral was conducted Sunday, October 9 at 1 p.m. at the Flat Gap
Enterprise Baptist Church with Revs. Ellis Hamilton and Bruce Daniel
officiating.Songs were provided by the Rock House Quartet.
  
Born December 24, 1900 in Johnson County, she was the daughter of
Rufus and Risa Lyons Stinson.  She had been a life long resident of
Flat Gap and was a member of the Enterprise Baptist Church.
  
Survivors include the following brothers and sisters; Carrie Gerald,
Goldie Williams, and Sylvia Malone of Portsmouth, Ohi; Minnie Conley
and James L. Stinson of Flat Gap, and Jewell Salyers of Paintsville.
  
Burial was held in the family cemetery at Flat Gap with the
Paintsville Funeral Home in charge.
