JAMES LANDON STINSON

Flat Gap resident, James Landon “Jim” Stinson, 75, died Friday, January 8,
in Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center.
  
Mr. Stinson was born May 2, 1912 in Johnson County, the son of Rufus and
Rissa Lyons Stinson. He was a retired painter.
  
Surviving are one daughter, Yvonne Richey, of Marion, OH; three sisters,
Silvia Malone and Golda Boggs, both of Portsmouth, OH, and Jewell Salyer
Cooper, of Paintsville and several nieces and nephews.
   
Funeral services were held Monday, January 11, in Paintsville Funeral Home
Chapel, with Revs. Ellis Hamilton, Bruce Daniel, and Harold Salyer
officiating.
  
Burial was in Johnson County Memorial Cemetery at Staffordsville.
