WAYNE TACKETT

Staffordsville resident, Wayne Tackett, 86, died November 13 in J.J. Jordan
Nursing Home in Louisa.
  
Mr. Tackett was born March 26, 1902 in Johnson County, the son of Mose and
Mary Shaffers Tackett. He was a retired miner and a member of the Freewill
Baptist Church.
  
He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Marie Pelphrey Tackett, in 1985.
   
Surviving are two sons, Roger Tackett of Paintsville and Ben Tackett of
Staffordsville; four grandchildren; one great grandchild.
  
Funeral services held Wednesday, November 16 in Paintsville Funeral Home
Chapel with Revs. James K. Caudill and M.T. Womack, Jr. officiating.
  
Burial was in Tackett Cemetery at Staffordsville.
