DIXIE VANHOOSE

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 27 for Dixie VanHoose, 61, who
died Monday, May 24, at her Flat Gap residence.
  
Mrs. VanHoose was born February 27, 1932 in Johnson County, the daughter of
the late “Elder” Taylor and Gladys Frazier Williams. She was a member of the
United Baptist Church.
  
Surviving are her husband, Harold VanHoose; two daughters, Regena “Jeannie”
Boyd, and Karan Blair, both of Flat Gap; four brothers, Gary Williams of
Dayton, OH, Lowell Williams of Midway, OH, Paul Williams of Urbana, OH, and
Garrell Williams of Flat Gap; two sisters, Clara Burchett of Midway and
Katherine Wells of East Lake; OH; and one grandson, Jarred Blair.
  
Officiating at 11 a.m. services in Bethel United Baptist Church at Flat Gap
will be Elders Scott Williams, Danny Williams, and Frankie Williams and
Brother James Williams.
    
Burial will be in Johnson County Memorial at Staffordsville with Paintsville
Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
