ASHLEY WARD
1924-1959

Ashley Ward, 35, resident of Denver, died in a Lima, Ohio, hospital
Sunday morning, July 19.

He was born in this county June 29, 1924, the son of John W. Ward and
Martha Blair Ward.

He had lived at Denver most of his life and was employed as a tool
dresser in the oil fields.

Surviving are his wife, Arleen Blair Ward; three sons, Danny, Terry
and Jerry, all at home; two daughters, Judith, and LaJeana Ward, both
at home. Also surviving are the following brothers and sisters:
Crate Ward, Denver; Charlie Ward, Carey, Ohio; Edgar Ward, Barnetts
Creek; Hager Ward, Carey, Ohio; Zollie Ward, Barnetts Creek; Mary
Salyer, Hamdon, Ohio; Cinda Hannah, Vanlue, Ohio; Cora Louellen, Van,
W. Va.; Emily Waddell, Miamisburg, Ohio; Margarot Wickham, Gladys
Tackett and Joshie Higginbotham, all of Carey, Ohio; Bennie Faye
Petmickey, California.

Funeral services were conducted at 11:00 today from the Green Valley
Schoolhouse at Barnetts Creek with Hammie Blair, Prater Blair and
Kenneth Trimble as officiating ministers.

Burial was in the family cemetery at Barnetts Creek.
