JESSE WATERS

Jesse Waters, 51, died Thursday, December 23, in Bayer Memorial Hospital in
Ypsilanti, MI after a brief illness.
  
Mr. Waters was born August 25, 1925 in Cullman, AL, a son of Paul Waters of
Hanceville, Al and the late Lena Wren Waters. He was a resident of Taylor,
MI, was employed by Ford Motor Company and was a member of the Woodland
Avenue Baptist Church.
  
Surviving other than his father are his wife, Joyce Daniel Waters, whom he
married December 22, 1951; two sons, Steve and Barry, both at home; six
brothers, Albert, Luen, Tony and Howard, all of Sidney, OH, Crandford of
Cullman, AL and Bobby of Huntsville, AL; four sisters, Alma Voigt of
Hanceville, AL, Hazel Morris of Tuscaloosa, AL, Dura Whatley and Glenda
Harris both of Huntsville, AL.
  
Funeral services were held December 27, in the Paintsville Funeral Home
Chapel with Kenny Pelphrey and James Kelly Caudill as officiating ministers.
  
Burial was in the family cemetery at Staffordsville with Paintsville Funeral
Home handling arrangements.
