BRUCE WILLIAMS

Bruce Williams, 77, a retired farmer of Barnetts Creek, died at
10:00 p.m. Thursday, January 14, at his home after an extended
illness.
  
He was born May 28, 1887, a son of the late Thomas H. and
Christine Brown Williams.
  
Surviving are his wife, Arizona Williams; one stepson, James
Blevins, Lowmansville; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Betty Ruth
Conley, Barnetts Creek; Mrs. Martha Cupoli, Columbus, Ohio; Mrs.
Elva Dutton, Paintsville; two sisters, Mrs. Ducia Caudill,
Paintsville, Mrs. Ethel Caudill, Stockbridge, Michigan; and three
brothers, Cecil Williams, Chelsea, Mich.; Myrcle and Arthur
Williams, both of Staffordsville.
  
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Barnetts
Creek Baptist Church by Rev. Lonza Reed, Rev. Scott Castle, and
Rev. Charles Stapleton.
  
Burial was in the Barnetts Creek-Salyer Cemetery.
