Frances E. Williams, 92, better known as Fannie, died at the Castle
Fork Rest Home at 5:30 a.m. Thursday, March 8, following a two years’
illness.

A lifelong resident of Johnson County, she was born October 19, 1869,
the daughter of the late Lewis and Margaret Salyer Williams.

She was a member of the Missionary Baptist church since 1879.

Survivors include a sister in law, Mrs. Hattie Williams, twelve
nieces, eleven nephews, and several great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services were conducted at 10:30 a.m. Sunday from the chapel
of the Jones and Preston Funeral Home with Tommie Reynolds and Bruce
Daniel as officiating ministers.

Burial was in the family cemetery at Oil Springs.
