Elizabeth Elkins Collins, 87, of Paintsville, died Saturday, April 19, at
Mountain Manor, Paintsville.

Born April 8, 1927, at Big Creek, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late
John Harvey “Black Jack” and Goldie Porter Elkins.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Haskell “Hack” Collins; and
a brother, Walter Elkins.

Survivors include a daughter, Tonna Dawson of Van Lear; a son, Ray Griffith
of Morehead; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and four great-
great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Tuesday, April 22, at Phelps and Son Funeral Home
Chapel.

Burial was in Johnson County Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville, under
direction of Phelps and Son Funeral Home, Paintsville.
