ELVA DANIEL

Boons Camp resident, Elva Daniel, 83, died Wednesday, August 9 in Pikeville
Methodist Hospital.
  
Mrs. Daniel was born August 23, 1905 in Johnson County, the daughter of
George and Lydia Delong Perry.  She was a member of the Old Friendship
United Baptist Church.
   
She was preceded in death by husband, Norman Daniel in May 1986.
  
Surviving are 2 sons, Randall Daniel of Washington, and Evert Daniel of
Charleston, Ark; 2 daughters, Samantha Ratliff of Boons Camp, and Eula Ward
of Lenore, WV; 1 brothers, Jack Perry of Boons Camp; one sister, Sarah
Daniel of Boons Camp; 3 half sisters, Grace Preston and Della Staniford
both of Boons Camp and Marie Smith of OH; 20 grandchildren; 37 great
grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
  
Funeral services were held Sunday, August 13, in Old Friendship United
Baptist Church with Flem Arrowood, Claude Mollette, Glen Penix and Shade
Walters officiating.
  
Burial was in Daniel Family Cemetery at Boons Camp.
