Thealka Miner, Dies Tuesday Ernest Dove, 62, Thealka miner, died in a
local hospital at 2:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 16, following an extended
illness.
  
The son of the late George and Della Dale Dove, he was born in this
county December17, 1899, and had lived at Thealka all of his life.
  
He was a member of the Thealka Freewill Baptist Church.
  
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Hattie Castle Dove; two sons, Ray Dove,
Pikeville; Roy Dove, Ypsilanti, Michigan; two daughters, Mrs. Kermit
Preston, city; Mrs. James Lyons, Thealka; one sister, Mrs. Minnie
Castle Van Hoose, Thealka.
  
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, from the
Thealka Freewill Baptist Church with Don Fraley and Scott Castle as
officiating ministers.
  
Burial will follow in the Castle Cemetery at Thealka.
