SYLVIA MURRAY
1915-1988
   
Sylvia Murray, 72, died Monday, July 11 at her Jenkins home.
   
Ms. Murray was born October 19, 1915 in Johnson County, the daughter
of J. P. and Myrtie Wheeler Murray.
  
She was retired from the Huntington Shoe Factory and a member of Oak
Springs United Baptist Church.
  
Surviving are two brothers, Ocie Murray of Jenkins and Alice
Fairchild of Nippa; 2 step-brothers, Clyde and Curt Thompson, both of
OH; 3 half-sisters, Zelda Salyers, of OH, Irene Castle of River and
Margie Rowland of McDowell, WV.
  
Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 12, at Kerz Enterprise
Baptist Church, with Bruce Daniels and Charles Stapleton officiating.
  
Burial was in family cemetery at Sitka with Preston Funeral Home in
charge of arrangements.
