CHARLEY BLAIR
LOCAL RESIDENT BURIED SUNDAY
Charley Blair, 66 of this city died at 1:55 p.m August 14 in a Lexington hospital after a three month illness with a heart ailment.
He was born on Barnetts Creek on April 28, 1887 a son of German and Nancy Ratliff Blair.
Mr. Blair had been a resident of Paintsville for 40 years and was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Paulina Boling Blair of New London, Ohio.
Also surviving are four sons, Cecil Blair, Fayetteville, W. VA, Elbert Blair, Denver KY, Edward Blair, New London, O., Paul Blair, Shiloh O. and four daughters; Mrs Kenneth Campbell, Mrs. Bertha Oney, Mrs Edith Damron, all of New London O., and Mrs. Loretta Fairchilds of Staffordsville, KY.
Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the Free Will Baptist Church at Collista by Rev. Charlie Lemaster.
Burial was made at the Blair Cemetery under the direction of the Preston Funeral Home.
