Long Illness Fatal Monday To Louisa Blair
Mrs. Louisa May Blair, 64, died Monday, January 13, at 9:40 p.m., at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Virgil Wheatley of this city, following an illness of three years.
The daughter of the late Milton and Maggie Rice Litteral, she was born May 12, 1893, in Magoffin County. She was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Oscar Blair; three sons, Marshall, Van Lear; Hurshel. West Van Lear; Beecher, Wabash, Indiana; five daughters, Mrs. Virgil Wheatley and Mrs. Eunice Hyden, both of this city; Mrs. Mary Baldridge, East Point; Mrs. Annie Muphy, Holden W. Va.; Mabel Williams, Meally. Also surviving are two sisters, Goldia Litteral, City; Josie McKenzie, Meally; two brothers, Harvey Litteral, Springfield, O; Harry Litteral, McDowell.
Funeral services will be conduted at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, January 16, from the West Van Lear Church of Christ with Claude Preston as officiating minister.
Burial will be in the Cumbo Cemetery at West Van Lear.
