PAUL BURCHELL
Paul Vernon Burchell, 47, died April 13 1984 in Cabell
Huntington Hospital.
Born October 18 1936, in Floyd County, he was the son of
the late Sidual Burchell and Ethel Fannin Burchell.
A resident of Van Lear, he retired from the U.S.
Military and was a member of Paintsville
Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife, Diane DeLong Burchell, who he
married October 22 1962; and five sons, Paul Lloyd,
Brian, Blake, Todd and Marlen Burchell, all at home;
two brothers, Denvil Burchell, Cincinnati, Ohio; and
Alger Burchell, Lorain, Ohio; and four sisters, Janice
Thomas, Ashland Ky; Shelby DeLong, Cincinnati, Ohio;
Glema Jennings, Van Lear,Ky; and Delores Murphy,
Louisville,Ky.;
Funeral services were held April 15 in Paintsville
Church of Christ with Paul Daniels and
Jerry Scott officiating.
Burial was in Johnson County Memorial Cemetery,
Staffordsville, under the direction of
Preston Funeral Home.
