DARRELL BURCHETT
Darrell Burchett 71 died November 4 1982 at his
Wittensville home after an illness of several weeks.
Mr. Burchett was born September 14 1911, at Red Bush,
the son of James and Rose Castle Burchett.
He served in World War II and was a member of Disabled
American Veterans Chapter 18.
Surviving are his wife, Ocie Howard Burchett; a son,
Troy Burchett, Wittensville; two daughters,
Jane Carol Webb, Rush; and Darlene Burchett,
Kenova, W.Va.; two brothers, Lowell Burchett, Pikeville;
and Ora Lester Burchett Flat Gap; three sisters,
Eula Hayes, Howard Ohio; Virginai Hall Columbus, Ohio;
and Edna Wallen, Winchester; and two granddaughters.
Funeral services were held November 7 in Fishtrap United
Baptist Church, Staffordsville, with Elders Lonza Reed
and J.T. Bailey officiating.
Burial was in Johnson County Memorial Cemetery,
Staffordsville, with Paintsville Funeral Home in charge
of arrangements.
