James Hayden Cantrell (Potsy) 70, died Sunday, February 16, 1947, at
his home on West Third Street after a 6-week illness.

He was the son of the late Elijah and Nancy Atkinson Cantrell of Win.

He was a well known farmer and livestock dealer of this county.

Surviving are his widow, Stella Cheek Cantrell, nine children, Alkie
Turner, Ashland, Mrs. Mae Rice, city, and Mrs. June Holmes, Detroit,
Mich., Walter, New Cumberland, Ohio, Ervin, Lexington, Ky., Earl,
city, Clyde, Collista, Russell, Detroit, Mich., and Roy, a son by a
former marriage who resides in Ashland.

One sister and two brothers, Mrs. Ellen Spradlin, Barnetts Creek, and
Tom and Doke of Win, also survive.

Funeral services were held at Fish Trap on Tuesday.

Burial was in the Lemaster Cemetery at Fish Trap.
