Services Friday For War Veteran
Sgt. Ernest Castle, 31, died Sunday in a Morganfield, Ky., hospital from injuries received in a train accident at Morganfield.
He was a veteran of World War II and had just returned from the Korean War.
He was expected to receive his discharge this week.
Graveside rites will be conducted by the American Legion and funeral services will be held by Rev. Don Fraley and Rev. Arthur Ramey.
Burial will be in the Thealka Cemetery under the direction of the Jones Funeral Home.
Survivors include, besides his parents, the following brothers and sisters: Curtis Castle and Mrs. Norma Jean Haney of this city, Everett Castle and Mrs. Donna M. Estep of Thealka, Sam B. Castle, Jr., Springfield, Ohio, and Mrs. Ruth A. Campbell, Water Gap, Ky.
