HENRY CASTLE
1917-1968

  
Thealka resident Henry Castle, 51, died Sunday, December 8 in a local
hospital. A miner, by occupation, he was born in Johnson County, on March
15, 1917, the son of the late Joe and Nora Robinson Castle.
 
Survivors include the wife, Alfair Smith Castle; four sons, Richard, James,
Michael, and Garry all at home, and a daughter, Patricia, also at home.
Additional survivors include six brothers, Joe of Pikeville, Gaylord “Dago”
and Dewey of Thealka, Curtis of Twilight, WV, Howard of Prestonsburg, and
James of Columbus, OH; and two sisters, Mrs. Richard Patrick of Ashland and
Mrs. Charles Patrick of Chelsea, MI.
  
Services were conducted Tuesday, December 10 in the Thealka Freewill Baptist
church with Don Fraley and Charles Stapleton officiating.
 
Interment was held in the Thealka Cemetery with the Paintsville Funeral Home
in charge of arrangements.
