Frank Childers, 66, of Blaine, died Friday, Dec. 23, at his residence.
Born May 21, 1945, in Johnson County, he was the son of the late John
Childers and Pauline Holbrook Duty.
He was also preceded in death by three brothers, John Leonard Childers, Glen
Hopson and Jim Hopson; and a sister, Johnetta Childers.
Survivors include three sons, John Benjamin Childers of Prestonsburg, Frank
Childers Jr. of Paintsville and Rob Jones of Michigan; two daughters, Shelia
DeRoy of Morgantown and Cindy Bowen of Louisa; two brothers, James Vernon
Childers of Florida and Tom Childers of Coldwater, Mich.; two sisters, Bobbi
Ann Thompson of Louisa and Tina Gilliam of West Liberty; and 12
grandchildren.
Funeral services were Tuesday, Dec. 27, at Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel,
under direction of Jones- Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
