County Woman Dies Wednesday
Services Held Friday For Mrs. Jeff Cochran
  
Mrs. Louise Meade Cochran, 88, wife of Jeff Cochran of Win, Ky., died
Wednesday morning, March 7, at her home. She was a member of the
United Baptist Church.
  
The daughter of the late Samuel and Evaline Osborne Meade, she was
born January 9, 1868, in Johnson County.
  
Surviving, besides the husband are three sons, Thurman Cochran, Oil
Springs, and Charles and Wince Cochran, both of Win; four daughters,
Mrs. Rhoda Stapleton, Win, Ky., Mrs. Mark Bayes, and Mrs. Prentice
Bayes, both of Oil Springs, and Mrs. Charles Williams, Dayton, Ky.
  
Funeral services were held Friday morning at the home with Thurman
Ferguson, Shade Estep and Lonza Reed as officiating ministers.
  
Burial was made in the family cemetery under the direction of the
Paintsville Funeral Home.
